Every year, Intuit makes improvements, changed and adds new features to its various accounting products and QuickBooks Pro is no exception to it. So, in this blog post, we will look at changes which QuickBooks Pro has gone through from 2016 to 2018.

2016
  • ‘This year to last month’ filter for advanced reporting was one of the biggest improvements made in the 2016 edition. This new feature allowed users to easily get the reports which they needed.
  • The next improvement was in the form management section. It included single step solution for managing forms, allowing you to unclutter your send forms queue in a single click.
  • The last improvement was made in the Bill tracker. With this change, now Bill Tracker allowed you to see Bill status, print or close purchase order, and other features which made the managing payables a lot easier.

2017
  • The reports filters were made easily viewable which made the use of filters easy and more effective. Now, you were able to apply filters to multiple reports and see it on a single screen.
  • Other than this, there was a smart search feature included in the same year launch. It was a personalized autocomplete feature that helped you to search names, account numbers and transaction amount in less time.
  • An automated report helped you to know that your reports are on time and are accurate as well. They also made sure that reports are automatically generated and emailed to you as per your schedule.

2018
  • The new changes in 2018 allowed you to see your business performance on both cash and accrual basis. This proved to be a very useful addition to the new version as it made things easy and useful.
  • A new feature named as Payroll liability reminder was added to the QuickBooks 2018 which made payroll management much easier. With this feature, now users were able to deliver payroll taxes on time with the reminder present on the home screen.
  • There was also an addition of search box on the Chart of Accounts window. You just have to click on the menu bar, then choose lists and finally click on the Chart of Accounts.
  • The best addition in the QB 2018 was the multiple monitor feature. By using this feature, users will be able to get their work done faster with windows open across multiple monitors.

Every year, the accounting software of Intuit like QuickBooks Pro keeps getting improved and the same thing is expected to happen with their 2019 release as they are expected to continue the trend of making their products the best in the market.
